This smock blouse is designed to emphasize delicate impressions while expressing a sense of volume by incorporating abundant gathers around the collar. The neckline is a wrap design with an open placket that can be tied with a string, and an eyelet button closure is added.
Crafted using our eco-friendly UpcycleLino fabric, expertly woven in Hamamatsu, Japan, the fabric is woven with a single strand of fine linen yarn with a medium weight linen-cotton blend UpcycleLino yarn. This exceptional blend is derived from leftover linen fabric from our garment production.
In addition to its sustainable origins, our fabric has undergone a meticulous finishing process known as Omi-zarashi. This traditional technique, which has a history of use for over 300 years in Japan, enhances the fabric's softness and imparts a unique subtly crumpled texture.
