This garment is made from a rare deadstock linen fabric that had been resting unused in a linen textile mill. The fabric is woven with fine-count 100% linen yarns—80-count single yarn in the warp and 60-count single yarn in the weft—creating a subtle contrast in thread thickness. Crafted by artisans of the time, the use of 80-count fine warp yarns allowed for a densely woven construction, resulting in a delicate texture and an elegant finish. The balloon sleeves are generously gathered, offering a soft silhouette that adds a feminine touch. The relaxed fit ensures that it doesn’t cling to the body, making it comfortable and flattering for a wide range of wearers. The elastic cuffs allow for easy adjustment and styling, enabling wear across multiple seasons. Designed to be worn in two ways—front to back—it can be styled as a dress or worn open as a lightweight outer layer, depending on the occasion.
