A relaxed fit jacket inspired from the 1920 to 1930s.sack coat, a formal wear staple, modified for a casual look with a relaxed fit. It pays homage to the original design with three higher-placed buttons on the lapel and a convertible style collar that can be styled as a stand collar. The fabric is crafted from our autumn winter essential fabric of a double twisted flat woven brushed linen. Instead of using a single heavy weight yarn, two lighter weight linen yarns are twisted together, creating a double-twisted fabric with enhanced strength and drape. The raised nap on the surface lends a soft touch, making it suitable alternative for those who dislike the scratchy feel of wool. Woven by a traditional Kyoto textile factory, the fabric undergoes the brushing process in Niigata, a region also known for producing flannel fabrics.
