Crafted with rare, sustainably-sourced black linen, this fabric undergoes a unique natural retting process, creating a dark grayish hue that reflects the soil's colors. Skilled Japanese artisans enhance its texture through a sophisticated brushing technique, resulting in a soft, warm fabric that improves with age.
The fabric is dyed using a blend of Kakishibu (persimmon) and indigo, creating a distinctive tea-like brownish hue with a unique blue-green shade on the raised and fuzzy areas.
