A water-repellent hooded coat celebrating nest Robe's 20th anniversary, made with CONFECT's signature high-count linen. Designed as a versatile spring coat with a vintage-inspired style and water-repellent treatment to handle sudden rain. Crafted from CONFECT's essential high-count linen fabric with long fibers and minimal neps. The resulting finish is exceptionally smooth and delicate, with a subtle yet luxurious sheen that only improves with age. With minimal neps, the fabric is gentle on the skin and offers an unrivaled level of comfort. Unlike traditional raincoats that are made from non-breathable materials, , this 100% natural fabric parka remains comfortable in various weather conditions, making it suitable for humid climate. The fabric is applied with super water-repellent treatment which is highly durable to washing. The super water-repellent coating is also known as “Lotus Over Processing” as it repels water like a lotus leaf. It also repels oil and is more resistant to getting dirty.
This garment undergoes a rare and traditional "Urushi" Japanese natural dyeing, which utilizes upcycled Japanese Lacquer tree chips to produce its unique mustard color. Japanese lacquer holds significant cultural value, having been used for centuries in the restoration of historical artifacts and structures.
