This jacket combines the signature textured feel of mizuneri linen with the unique lightweight quality achieved by incorporating washi (Japanese paper). While made from natural materials, it offers an unparalleled sense of refinement, making it a truly special piece. Inspired by vintage aesthetics, this design is part of our regular lineup of relaxed jackets, featuring a soft, unstructured silhouette. The low break point on the lapel ensures a casual, effortless drape, allowing it to be worn both buttoned-up as a jacket or unbuttoned as a light outer layer. For the front buttons, we have carefully selected pen shell, a shell material with a subtle translucency and a matte finish in shades of reddish-brown to deep brown. Unlike commonly used black or brown mother-of-pearl buttons with a pearlescent sheen, pen shell buttons offer a subdued yet refined luster, perfectly complementing the breezy, natural texture of the fabric. Each button is reinforced with a shell backing button, ensuring both durability and a polished finish.
