DETAILS
These are colored pants with Omi-sarashi on the standard wide pants silhouette of the UpcycleLino BASIC line.
The waist is gathered with elastic and the size can be adjusted with a drawstring, making it an easy pants design. The pants have a baggy silhouette with a wide hem.
The front is designed with only stitching and no opening, and what we aimed for this time was not a vivid color with good color development, but an image of a color that was originally vivid but faded with repeated use and became a slightly subdued color.
The color development seen in vintage workwear and military items is good, but it has a slightly hazy color somewhere.

[UpcycleLino]
Reverse yarn made from 30% high-quality linen scraps and 70% Indian organic cotton.
Upcycled reverse yarn is difficult to weave (knit) due to uneven knots,
so we blended high-quality cotton as a binder.
The surface of the fabric will not be uniform, but in return it will have a soft texture and a vintage look with a tasteful appearance.
Because it is a high-quality fabric made with care from the yarn onwards, it is possible to create high-quality materials even though it is recycled.
The warp thread is made of 60 linen, using two colors of yarn, pre-dyed black and bleached white, and the weft thread is woven with UL reverse yarn in a flat weave to create a block striped fabric.
The fabric is finished with Omi bleaching processing.
Omi-sarashi is a traditional fabric finishing method from Shiga Prefecture that is characterized by a wrinkled shape and fluffy texture reminiscent of washed and bleached fabric, which is created by repeatedly kneading the raw fabric before dyeing over a long period of time.
