COTTON DOUBLE CLOTH MOLESKIN
About the fabric
Thicker soft smooth cotton double cloth woven with a set of lighter weight cotton warps and a set of thicker supima cotton wefts which are interconnected to form a thicker cloth.
It has been created by time-consuming shuttle loom weaving so that it's softer in texture comparing to fabric made by a conventional productive method.
Uniqueness of this fabric is that it's thick but lightweight; proudly woven in Enshu, shear in Aichi and dyed and finished in Shiga, Japan.
The color
The fabric was dyed in our original subtle hue of dark navy by the specific way which retains the texture of fabric. The color is dark navy however, it looks more like black navy indoors or in the shades and the blue navy stands out under sunlight.
