ETHICAL DYED NEW COLOR

Find a role, again.

An item that has once served its purpose
and labeled as leftover waste can find a
new role by becoming raw materials
for the clothes we make tomorrow.

Initiated from such concept is our UpcycleLino
and natural Ethical Dyed series.

Utilizing cut waste from garment production
to create a sustainable UpcycleLino fabric,
carefully made by our local expert artisans
with Japanese MONOZUKURI techniques.
And using leftover food materials that are generally
disposed to make the essence of our natural dyeing base.

Aligned in our attempt on reducing the environmental impact of
manufacturing clothes and to achieve our fully zero-waste goal,
CONFECT’s Ethical Dyed Series is a combination
of UpcycleLino garments and natural ethical dyeing process.

We have previously introduced Pink
and Ink Black color created from natural dye base
from onion skin and carbonized plum seeds.

This summer newest color is Light Purple
obtained from dye essence extracted from skin
residues of grapes from wine production which
are grown in Shiga prefecture, Japan.
