At CONFECT, we have always been fascinated by the potential of knitwear, and this year, we are delving deeper into its possibilities. Building upon the success of our Peruvian middle-gauge knits, we are excited to introduce a new chapter in our knitwear journey.

In 2023, we are digging deeper into knits, pushing boundaries and expanding our knit offerings. Inspired by the positive response of our Fuller’s Teasel brushed knits, we have curated a collection of a new pullover and cardigan.

In addition, we have also requested our trusted manufacturing partner to produce a new model of knitted pants, made with the same middle-gauge whole garment machine combining style, functionality, and comfortability.

A luxurious feel that cannot be replicated
by man-made materials.






These knits are crafted using the traditional Scottish technique of Fuller’s Teasel Brushing, a method that utilizes dried seed pods to raise fabric naps. The brushing process involves the use of a Fuller’s Teasel attached to a spindle machine where the thorns gently brush the knit, creating the desired fulling effect. Skilled artisans oversee each individual knit, combining the precision of the machine with their handcrafted expertise to ensure a uniformly textured and finely finished product.

A 7-gauge knit fabric with a moderate weight, the perfect balance, not too thin and not too thick.

Using this hand washable wool, we've created whole garment knit pants that incorporate various knitting techniques such as jersey and ribbing to form a three-dimensional structure without seam stitching.
