Pink color dyed with Gofun dye over safflower dye and purple color dyed with Gofun dye over gromwell root dye. Gofun is a natural white pigment powder made of burnt shells to create the gentle soothing hues of purple and red.
These two special natural dyes are inspired by the traditional Japanese deep purple and red from a silk wrapping cloth used in the Japanese tea ceremony of the aristocrats in old days.
