This fabric is a new type of dungaree developed in collaboration with a denim fabric manufacturer in Okayama, using UpcycleLino as a sustainable material. The warp yarns are dyed with indigo, while the weft yarns are made from UpcycleLino, resulting in a fabric that retains a refined sheen despite its casual texture. With repeated wear and washing, users can enjoy the natural aging process—characterized by a softening of the fabric and the gradual fading of the indigo dye. The washed UpcycleLino dungaree fabric is offered as a coordinated set consisting of a casual vest and skirt. The vest features raw-edge layered frills at the armholes, adding a playful element to the design. Its deep V-neckline allows for versatile styling, pairing well with either a T-shirt or a collared shirt. Two color options are available: a light blue that evokes a worn-in, vintage feel created through a post-dye wash process, and a beige in a basic tone that’s easy to coordinate. We especially recommend styling the vest with the matching cocoon-shaped skirt made from the same fabric.
