This is a gingham check skirt made with fabric from UpcycleLino.
Gingham fabric is a popular fabric for the brand every year, with its drawstring ribbon as a highlight, but in this collection, black linen fabric is used in raw cut to add an accent.
The skirt is made with an all-elastic easy-fitting design and has pockets on the sides. When you tighten the drawstring ribbon, the hemline moves, turning it into an elegant skirt. Because of the movement in the hemline, we also recommend layering it with pants. Raw black linen fabric is sandwiched between the elastic waistband, and the black of the ribbon and the raw black create an accent.

Body: The fabric is a gingham check with a 60/1 warp linen thread and a 27/1 weft yarn.
The linen used for the warp yarn is FLAX from France, woven at a mill in Kakegawa, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan, and processed at a processing plant in Shiga Prefecture.
The fabric is mercerized and softened to create a light, fluffy material. This is an original UpcycleLino material that combines the cool feel of linen with the softness of cotton.
The separate fabric is a classic plain weave linen with a moderate thickness, using a standard 60-count warp thread and a 40-count weft linen thread.
