DETAILS
A reimagined version of the classic chore jacket featuring patch pockets with curved corners, intentionally placing the chest pockets lower than usual to create a relaxed silhouette that falls slightly off the shoulder. This pre-dyed fabric is crafted with heavier weight cotton warp yarn and a heavy weight cotton and linen blend weft yarn. The fabric is woven using dobby weave, which allows the thicker warp yarn to stand out on the surface, creating a three-dimensional texture. This combined with garment dyeing process, results in a fabric with a unique texture, where the different shrinkage rates of cotton and linen create a subtle unevenness that can be felt. The fabric is not just dyed with pigment dye but the difference in dye absorption between linen and cotton also contributes to a more complex and interesting texture. Finished with a bio treatment process for a faded coloring effect to the fabric, to achieve a vintage-inspired appearance.
