This cook jacket is inspired by military vintage and filtered through the CONFECT lens.

It features a distinctive double button design for a sharp look, a relaxed box silhouette, and slightly flare sleeves for a three-dimensional silhouette without compromising on a relaxed feel.

It's made from a single piece of fabric with no lining, so you can roll up the cuffs and take advantage of the linen texture for a casual look without fastening the buttons.
The buttons are made from genuine nut material, and the backs are carefully decorated with shell buttons.

Made with our original linen duck material.

Duck material is a plain weave fabric woven with a thick count, and due to its durability as a construction material, it is used as the standard material for workwear. This material is usually made with thick cotton threads of 10 count or more, but we use only linen threads of 25 count (equivalent to cotton threads of 9 count), a high-quality material with a beautiful thread surface.

While there are similar thick-count plain weave linen materials, duck material, woven with the warp and weft aligned, is difficult to handle and is not so easy to make. This results in a material that combines the ruggedness of adult workwear with the elegant luster of linen.

As a final step, the fabric undergoes salt-shrinking and washing processes in Shiga Prefecture. The salt-shrinking process further tightens the fabric, resulting in a harder, stronger fabric. Further washing processes ensure that the fabric remains dense but not too stiff, maintaining a natural softness and feel.
