This half-zip pullover knit features ribbing knitted using the plating technique, which gives the front a linen-like feel and the back a wool-like feel.
This knit is made with a focus on tightly knitting the yarns as much as possible without compromising the characteristics of each yarn, resulting in a heavy count.
While the ribbing stretches horizontally, there is ample room in the body and sleeves, allowing the fabric to drape downwards under its own weight, resulting in a very streamlined look despite the thickness of the fabric.
The ribbing around the neck is kept thin compared to the body, not only adding visual interest to the design, but also taking into account the drape and fullness of the collar when the zipper is down. This design allows for two-way use: when the zipper is up, it looks like a turtleneck, and when the zipper is down, it looks like a collared PO. This item can be hand washed, but due to the nature of knitwear, hanging it on a hanger can cause it to lose its shape and stretch, so we recommend shaping it and laying it flat to dry. It is said that only about 1% of knitwear in the domestic knitwear market is made in Japan, but this "made in Japan" knitwear was made possible thanks to our collaboration with a manufacturer in Gosen City, Niigata Prefecture, which has preserved its craftsmanship and become known as the city of knitwear.

The fabric is made from European linen yarn that has been double-ply processed domestically and Australian merino wool that has been treated to prevent shrinkage.
The knitting was done in Gosen City, Niigata Prefecture, making it a made-in-Japan knitwear.
Gosen City is where the textile industry was born during the Edo period, and the knitwear industry developed based on that foundation. Today, the area is home to some of the most advanced technologies in the country, and is known as the number one knitwear town in Japan.
