This scarf is woven from a wool and linen blend in soft tweed.
Like the coat and pants made from the same fabric, this simple scarf takes advantage of the fabric's softness and lightness. It's finished with a houndstooth stitch on all four sides, and several warp and weft threads are removed to create a 5m fringe.
The fabric has been pre-washed and fluffed to retain air, giving it a classic look while maintaining its lightness and warmth.
*Although this item has been pre-washed and sun-dried, it may shrink further depending on care, so it is generally not machine washable.
*Due to shrinkage, the brown version of this scarf will be approximately 10cm shorter.

This is a herringbone tweed fabric, using wool for the warp and linen for the weft.
This is an original fabric made in Japan, with everything from weaving to finishing taking place in the Oshu region.
While inspired by British tweed fabrics made from 100% British wool, we have created a more modern fabric that is characteristic of CONFECT.
We wanted the fabric to be light and soft, in contrast to its classic impression, so we selected and used wool, which emphasizes lightness and softness.
The use of linen for the weft gives the fabric a rough overall impression, while also creating a fabric that is more characteristic of the brand. The wool fabric is also washed, and the density of the weave is calculated to allow pilling to occur during washing.
