Notice: Relief Measures Regarding the “Temporary Suspension of De Minimis Treatment for All Countries” for Postal Imports into the United States
Thank you for using the nest Robe / CONFECT International Online Shop.
On July 30, 2025, the U.S. government issued an executive order entitled “Suspension of De Minimis Treatment for All Countries” concerning inbound postal items.
According to this order, postal shipments containing goods imported for personal use (taxable items) will no longer be eligible for duty-free treatment and will be subject to customs duties as of August 29, 2025.
On August 15, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released new guidelines on the abolition of de minimis treatment. These guidelines stipulate that carriers and related postal operators are responsible for procedures such as submitting customs declarations and paying customs bonds to CBP. However, the procedures that carriers and postal operators are required to implement remain unclear, making actual operations extremely difficult.
For this reason, our shop temporarily suspended shipments to the United States as of Wednesday, August 27. However, we have now partnered with an order-placement agency that enables delivery within the United States when orders are placed through online shops in Japan. We are therefore introducing this relief measure, which allows us to resume deliveries within the United States.

Please note that this is only a temporary relief measure. Because it operates on a separate system, you will not be able to log in as a member as you would on the International Online Shop, and services such as the Loyalty Program will not be available.
In addition, deliveries will be made not by EMS but by other carriers, such as FedEx.
As orders are placed through the order-placement agency, the total amount you pay may differ from the amount shown on the International Online Shop. We appreciate your understanding.

We will update you once we receive clarity from the U.S. government and shipments can resume.
