Made with Uzbek cotton.
Uzbekistan is an inland region with extreme temperature differences, making it an ideal climate for cotton cultivation. This yarn is primarily made from cotton grown in Fergana, which is considered the highest quality cotton.
In Fergana, high-quality cotton is harvested when fully ripe, resulting in long fibers with thick, strong fibers. Because the cotton is made into yarn while retaining the appropriate amount of oil, it has a supple, soft texture with firmness and resilience. By using this special thread to smooth deformation, the fabric is more voluminous and soft than regular smooth fabric, resulting in a warm material despite being 100% cotton. Furthermore, tumble-processing creates a sophisticated touch and texture that is characteristic of CONFECT.
The fabric is knitted in Wakayama Prefecture, and processed and set in Osaka.
