This black denim jacket is made with luxuriously thick hemp yarn.

Made from the same fabric as the previously released Cotton Hemp Denim Pants and Cotton Hemp Denim 5-Pocket Wide Pants, it exudes a powerful texture.

Based on a vintage denim jacket, this jacket is slightly larger than a typical denim jacket and shares the same buttons and rivets as the bottoms, making it suitable for pairing.

The fabric is thick and may feel stiff, but because it is not woven at a high density, it becomes extremely soft with repeated wear. The brass-colored buttons and rivets give this item a distinctive CONFECT originality.

This is 16.8oz cotton hemp denim, with a cotton warp thread count of 8 and a hemp weft thread count of 6.

This is a "made in JAPAN" black denim specially ordered by CONFECT, with weaving and finishing carried out in Ibara City, Okayama Prefecture.

One thing worth noting is that the hemp yarn used for the weft is hemp yarn originally used for materials, and has not been bleached, resulting in the natural hemp color.
The hemp yarn is quite noticeable as a thread, and you can see the distinct hemp feel with the naked eye.

If woven to regular denim standards, it would be stiff and uncomfortable to wear, so the number of stitches was reduced to make it softer. As a result, the oz rating is listed as 16.8oz, which makes it seem quite thick, but the finished material is actually softer than it looks.
Also, because the threads are too thick to dry completely during the finishing process, the heater drying process is carried out more frequently than usual, making this denim extremely time-consuming and labor-intensive from weaving to processing.

As a special custom feature, the warp threads are sulfurized black and the weft threads make use of the natural yellowish color of hemp, resulting in a striking black denim that is hard to find anywhere else.
