This is a BDU jacket made from UpcycleLino fabric treated with Omi bleaching.
Based on the "Battle Dress Uniform" BDU jacket, which was used by the US military for approximately 30 years from 1981, CONFECT has used a linen-cotton blend material.
It features four flap pockets on the front with a concealed placket, and an adjustable tab at the back waist. Taking advantage of the original softness of the fabric, the Omi bleaching process creates a textured surface that feels comfortable against the skin, resulting in a lighter shirt-jacket compared to typical BDU jackets.

This plain weave material uses 40-count linen yarn for the warp and 15-count cotton single-ply cotton linen yarn for the weft, creating a classic texture that can be worn in any season.
This recycled material is made from parts that would normally be discarded during the cutting process of clothing production. To reuse these parts as raw material for fabric, the recycled material is passed through a recycled yarn recovery machine and scraped out with countless needles to return it to its cotton state. It is then blended with organic cotton to create the recycled linen batting.
The fabric itself is known for its softness, but this time it has been further processed with Omi-sarashi, further enhancing its softness and creating natural unevenness that gives it a vintage feel and makes the fabric feel comfortable against the skin.
