From weaving to the final dyeing process, this "Made in Japan" material is meticulously crafted in Bishu.

The fabric is a "modified mesh" based on a plain weave, and by deliberately leaving every other thread floating, which is characteristic of washi paper, a textured surface is created, resulting in a distinctive "beaded" pattern that can be seen horizontally.

The imposing look created by using thick yarn might suggest that the fabric is too heavy for summer, but because it uses natural washi paper raw materials, it is surprisingly light and has a dry touch finish.
