A pair of wide-leg pleated pants in our original season less UpcycleLino chino fabric. Drawing inspiration from the vintage French military aesthetic, these wide-silhouette chino pants are a contemporary reimagining of the iconic style prevalent in the 1950s and 1960s.
This sustainable eco-friendly chino fabric is developed with an old fabric house in Okayama, Japan and it is knitted from heavier weight undyed cotton warp yarn and heavy weight undyed UpcycleLino weft yarn which is made of linen fabric leftover from our garment production blended with virgin cotton fibers.

・Soft and dry to the touch.
・Easy fit.
・Wide legs.
・Front double pleated.
・Front concealed nut button fastening; one top button.
・Back elasticated adjustable waist with inner drawstring.
・Belt loops.
・Back flap pockets with nut button closure.
・Unlined.
・Garment dyed (reactive dye).
・Approximate weight: 584 g.

Introducing UpcycleLino
UpcycleLino is the trademark for our original yarns and fabrics made of our production fabric waste.
Usually, when we cut our fabric, about 30% of the fabric is wasted (40% to 50% in general). But now, by making special garments and hangers using our own new upcycled yarns and fabrics, we can reduce the waste to 0%.

With our dedication to sustainable circular fashion and commitment to reducing the waste in our manufacturing process, we have developed an original upcycled yarn made of our linen fabric waste from our garment production. The upcycled fiber is made out of our pure linen fabric scraps with added organic virgin cotton fiber to become our original upcycled linen-cotton yarn named UpcycleLino.

We then produce upcycled fabric with this upcycled new yarn to create new clothing. There comes another fabric waste after the upcycled garments are produced, then we make upcycled hangers out of the remaining waste, following our social mission of "Full upcycle production = ZERO Waste" and thereby upgrading our sustainable circular fashion.

We received the GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2021 for our initiatives to the sustainable circular fashion.
