ETHICAL DYED
The UpcycleLino brand started in 2021 Spring
by nest Robe | CONFECT.
Originated from a sustainable concept of a
circular economy with a goal of zero waste.
Leftover linen fabrics that are cut from our garment production
are used by our highly skilled craftsmen in creating upcycled yarns
and fabrics which are then utilize to create new clothing.
Introducing our new CONFECT series,
using our UpcycleLino fabrics combined with "Ethical Dyeing".
Ethical dyeing is a process where clothes are dyed from natural dye
extracted from food waste materials, specially selected from
the top-producing areas of the food in Japan.
Both the material and dyeing process are all natural,
with the same focus to reduce the environmental impact
of clothing production.
A basic design of a Shirt, Pants and T-shirt.
Available in two ethically dyed colors, PINK and INK BLACK.
The beige, Pink color is obtained from natural materials extracted
from Onions produced in Awajishima.
Ink Black color from carbonized plum seeds produced in Kishu region,
now known as Wakayama and southern Mie Prefecture.
The finished garment comes out with a pale soft hue with the unique touch of the natural fabric
where each individual product appears distinct and one of a kind.
