DETAILS
A classic style vest perfect for layering which features two pockets at front and a cinch back crafted from plain weave black linen fabric which is finished at our partnered factory in Shiga prefecture, Japan. The fabric is woven from medium weight black linen for both warp yarn and weft yarn with high thread count.
Black linen is a rare and slow made natural linen which has dark grayish hue from the natural colors of the soil that the flax fibers have soaked from natural retting. Harvesting of black linen is very limited as it is heavily reliant on uncontrollable weather conditions such as the period of the rainy season, its duration, and the amount rained having to be balanced to promote the development of bacterial actions at the harvested field in order to make its natural darker color.
