DETAILS
A jumper skirt featuring a flare silhouette and adjustable shoulder straps made of thick cotton tape, and various stitches are added to the seams and pockets, giving a military-workwear inspired touch. Vintage-like hardware are also used for the tuck button and loops details.
This seasonless UpcycleLino Chino fabric is crafted at a century old fabric house in Okayama, Japan. Woven from heavier weight unbleached cotton warp yarn and heavy weight unbleached UpcycleLino weft yarn which is made of linen fabric leftover from our garment production blended with virgin cotton fibers.
This skirt has a vintage-like appearance from using uneven thickness yarns for UpcycleLino yarns and has a color depth from using different shades of natural undyed yarns.

・Flare silhouette.
・Adjustable shoulder straps in cotton fabric.
・Vintage-like metal hardware for the tuck button and loop details.
・Concealed button fly closure.
・Side slash pockets.
・Back single patch pocket.

Introducing UpcycleLino
UpcycleLino is the trademark for our original yarns and fabrics made of our production fabric waste.
Usually, when we cut our fabric, about 30% of the fabric is wasted (40% to 50% in general). But now, by making special garments and hangers using our own new upcycled yarns and fabrics, we can reduce the waste to 0%.
With our dedication to sustainable circular fashion and commitment to reducing the waste in our manufacturing process, we have developed an original upcycled yarn made of our linen fabric waste from our garment production. The upcycled fiber is made out of our pure linen fabric scraps with added organic virgin cotton fiber to become our original upcycled linen-cotton yarn named UpcycleLino.
We then produce upcycled fabric with this upcycled new yarn to create new clothing. There comes another fabric waste after the upcycled garments are produced, then we make upcycled hangers out of the remaining waste, following our social mission of "Full upcycle production = ZERO Waste" and thereby upgrading our sustainable circular fashion.
We received the GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2021 for our initiatives to the sustainable circular fashion.
