A cocoon silhouette salopette pants featuring a wide leg with pleats on side, adjustable shoulder straps with buckle and five level adjustments, and partially elasticated waistband for wearing comfortability. Crafted from a plain weave heavyweight 100% black linen which is a rare natural linen and has a dark grayish hue from the natural colors of the soil that the flax fibers have soaked from natural retting.
Harvesting of black linen is very limited as it is heavily reliant on uncontrollable weather conditions such as the period of the rainy season, its duration, and the amount rained having to be balanced to promote the development of bacterial actions at the harvested field in order to make its natural darker color. Due to the inefficiency and inability to adjust the color, such processes are rarely undertaken. This unique fabric offers a natural appeal, will age beautifully and become softer in texture over time with every use.
