A relaxed fit compact stand collar dress featuring gathered details on the neck, waist side panels, and sleeves. Crafted from plain weave cotton ramie broadcloth fabric, from very fine compact cotton warp yarn and a medium weight cotton ramie blend weft yarn. Typically, broadcloth has a higher density weft than warp, but in this case, we used a thicker weft to create a denser fabric. The garment has undergone Omi-zarashi finish, which is a traditional non-chemical bleaching method used over 300 years in Japan that has been applied to the fabric to make it softer and dry-touch with slightly crumpled texture.
