DETAILS
A boxy-fit hoody with a loose oversized silhouette, featuring side hem cords that allows for adjustments with different looks. Complete with a skipper design collar for versatile layer styling. Crafted with our sustainable repurposed UpcycleLino yarn from cut fabric scraps of our garment production. The fabric is skillfully knitted in the Kishu region of Japan, and undergoes a special processing technique in Osaka to create its unique texture. The upcycled yarn used in this hoody creates a distinctive, vintage-like appearance due to the irregular slubbed texture. To enhance the touch and ensure durability, the recycled yarn is blended with high-quality cotton fibers, resulting in a soft and luxurious feel. The finished garment is then subjected to pigment dyeing and a bio-wash treatment, giving it a unique color nuance and a worn-in, vintage look.

Usually, when we cut our fabric, about 30% of the fabric is wasted (40% to 50% in general). But now, by making special garments and hangers using our own new upcycled yarns and fabrics, we can reduce the waste to 0%.
With our dedication to sustainable circular fashion and commitment to reducing the waste in our manufacturing process, we have developed an original upcycled yarn made of our linen fabric waste from our garment production. The upcycled fiber is made out of our pure linen fabric scraps with added organic virgin cotton fiber to become our original upcycled linen-cotton yarn named UpcycleLino.
We then produce upcycled fabric with this upcycled new yarn to create new clothing. There comes another fabric waste after the upcycled garments are produced, then we make upcycled hangers out of the remaining waste, following our social mission of "Full upcycle production = ZERO Waste" and thereby upgrading our sustainable circular fashion.
We received the GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2021 for our initiatives to the sustainable circular fashion.
