A loose fit cotton twill deck salopette, available in a timeless off color, the design draws inspiration from US Navy deck pants, originally created as cold-protective workwear for sailors working in harsh deck conditions. The characteristic beltless, overall design offers protection from dirt, abrasion, and inclement weather, while providing added functionality with patch pockets. Crafted from a durable, densely woven 13 oz cotton katsuragi fabric, the material undergoes a comprehensive manufacturing process. Spun from American cotton and processed into yarn in Japan, it is then woven and dyed in Okayama. After being silket-treated, the fabric is off-dyed using slack dyeing, a method known for its superior colorfastness compared to conventional reactive dyeing.
