This gansey sweater was designed in collaboration with Kazuyo Takiguchi of nestRobe Press.

Gandhi sweaters originated around the 17th century on the British island of Guernsey as workwear for fishermen. They are characterized by their symmetrical front and back construction and their functionality, allowing them to be worn comfortably even in the dark. Traditionally, they were knitted from oily wool for durability, but this product is made from 100% cotton with a white-dyed interior for comfortable wear well into early spring, and is machine washable at home.

We offer a "blue" colorway with contrasting cuffs and hem, available exclusively on our online shop.

Available in two colors: blue and navy.
