A military field jacket inspired coat in our nuanced hemp cotton canvas. This fabric is durable and naturally rough in texture and has been woven with hemp yarn and cotton yarn.
Water-repellent treatment is applied to this fabric while natural untreated hemp cotton canvas fabric texture is remained.
Omi-zarashi, a traditional non-chemical bleaching method used over 300 years in Japan is also applied to the fabric for softer texture with subtle uneven look to the surface.
*Water repellency may gradually diminish over time with washes however, it revives and increases by ironing after each wash and it will not reduce significantly, even after 50 washes.
