Inspired from British Marine's duffle coat of the 1960's. A CONFECT's original duffle coat using undyed beige mélange wool; that is double weave twill which then undergoes milling and is raised to make it fluffy and dense, and is finally sheared even which creates the wool pile fabric. This results to the finished garment having a Melton-like thickness and warmth yet lighter and soft to the touch. Compared to dyed fabrics, undyed natural wool was used for a softer texture as it does not go through extra processing.
