A wide fit vest featuring a stand collar and front zip fastening crafted from all-natural wool cotton fleece fabric produced exclusively in the renowned pile knit manufacturing region found at the foot of Mount Koya in Wakayama, Japan.
The carefully woven wool fleece fabric is crafted from a unique pile knit technique called “KOYAGUCHI PILE”. The surface of the vest is made of 100% wool and shirred to an even length after being knitted in a loop, giving it a smooth texture. This fleece fabric has luster under light reflection, and color depth in shadow. Lined with eco-friendly cotton for added firmness and has undergone a resin coating to reduce shedding.
While fleece materials are commonly made with synthetic fibers, we focus on natural fabrics combining the warmth and lightweight qualities of wool and cotton, providing a comfortable feel against the skin with minimal itchiness.
