A flight jacket originated from air force uniforms created using natural fabrics with a relaxed lightweight built and an overall minimal design. This bomber jacket features sleek seam pockets, front metal zip fastening, and elbow tucks for mobility. The jacket uses ribbed details with a tone-on-tone color-coordination at the collar, hem, and cuffs. Crafted from serge weaved cotton silk fabric which is woven from medium weight organic compact cotton warp yarn and a silk nep weft yarn which has undergone tumble dry processing.
Serge weave are usually used for wool suits but by using compact cotton yarns which have a natural smooth surface and silk nep weft yarns which are nubby in texture, a unique fabric trait is produced. Among natural fabrics silk is absorbent and has good thermal regulation that can keep you feel cool in the hot and warm in the colder weather.
