A highly functional pants inspired from 1950s US Air Force utility trousers featuring six practical pockets. Ideal for SS24 season theme of "travel" with its ample storage capacity. The front is designed with four patch pocket and pleat details and the back is designed with an easy-fit elasticated waistband with two patch pockets where the left is designed with a flap. Crafted from a heavyweight twill weave fabric (known as Katsuragi Fabric), made by interweaving cotton warp yarns and Japanese paper yarn for the weft. The paper yarn is known as "WASHI" and has been used in Japan since ancient times, dating back from the Nara period (710AD). The fibers used for the Washi is made from eco-friendly Manila hemp, that grows quickly and absorbs carbon dioxide. The finished garment has a silky and smooth texture and has been Sulfur dyed to create vintage-like faded effects and subtle color variations.
