A collarless jacket with a clean neckline that can be easily thrown on like a shirt. Designed with a slightly slimmed down shoulders and the length is set longer to hide the hip line. Featuring patch pockets on the waist and slits on both side hems for added mobility, giving it a workwear-inspired design. Crafted using a pre-dyed Glen check fabric from medium weight French linen yarns. It features a traditional British check pattern combining small grid patterns centered around a houndstooth check. Kakishibu-zome is a dyeing process that has a long history in Japan. The method is used to dye everyday items as well as ninja garments, enhances fabric longevity and protects against decay. The dye itself is crafted by meticulously crushing unripe green persimmons and allowing the resulting juice to ferment for over a year, resulting in a rich, natural brown hue.
