DETAILS
A CONFECT essential lightweight and comfortable 2-pleats easy fit pants with a deep rise for a voluminous and three-dimensional silhouette around the waist. Tapered towards the hem for a sleek fit, with a length that falls around the ankle. Crafted using a pre-dyed Glen check fabric from medium weight French linen yarns. It features a traditional British check pattern combining small grid patterns centered around a houndstooth check. The dyed pattern is processed with Sumi-zome, from Mizunara and Konara wood charcoal in Iwate Prefecture, known for its top-quality charcoal production. The "sumi" or charcoal is traditionally used for its dehumidifying, deodorizing, and purifying properties, as well as a heat source in daily life. The dye is pigment-based, resulting in strong variations in shade and potential fading that contributes to its unique individual appearance.
