A stand collar jacket based from vintage workwear coveralls. The collar width is intentionally designed to be short, and is secured with stitches on the shoulder, allowing you to fold it like a lapel. The patch pockets at the waist are reinforced with selvedge and have a double-stitch design to prevent fray and to add a touch of workwear aesthetic. While the classic button front placement is set higher overall for a light and agile look.
This jacket is crafted with a heavyweight linen twill UpcycleLino fabric by densely weaving luxurious heavyweight French linen warp yarns and our heavyweight linen-cotton UpcycleLino weft yarns. The garment is finished using pigment dying techniques., which creates uneven colors and subtle wear and fade with every wash resulting to a vintage-like feel. Furthermore, the use of pigment dye on the twill fabric gives a fabric a unique luster.

・Soft and dry touch.
・Relaxed, comfortable fit.
・Stand collar.
・Front button closure
・Wider armholes and sleeves.
・Front patch pockets.
・Unlined.
・Pigment dyed.
・Approximate weight: 614g.

Model Height: 179 cm, 5'10” & 167 cm, 5'5.75”.

***PLEASE NOTE ***
*Due to the use of pigment dyeing the finished garment has a unique character to fade which is intentional to achieve a vintage feel. Similar to indigo dyeing on denim, pigment dyeing results in a strong and easily noticeable fading. Please be aware that there is a possibility for the color to transfer onto other items, surfaces, or bags when worn.
*When washing, it is recommended to use a neutral detergent and hand wash with minimal friction. If using a washing machine, it is best to use the gentle cycle for single item (delicate clothes wash). The first wash may result in significant color fading and, in some cases, color fading along creases and a slight yellowing of the fabric. However, as you continue to wash the garment for the second and third time, the contrast in fading will gradually diminish and blend in. Please consider this points before your purchase.
*For your reference, images of faded garments that have been washed 3 to 4 times are commented and displayed on the product photo.

Introducing UpcycleLino:

UpcycleLino is our trademark that encompasses our innovative range of yarns and fabrics, meticulously crafted from the fabric waste generated during our production process. Traditionally, a staggering 30% of fabric production goes to waste (often reaching 40% to 50%). However, with our upcycled yarns and fabrics, we can minimized waste to an astonishing 0%.

Dedicated to promoting sustainable circular fashion and committed to reducing our carbon footprint, we have ingeniously transformed our linen fabric waste into our original upcycled yarn. Our exclusive UpcycleLino yarn is skillfully woven from our discarded pure linen fabric scraps, combined with organic virgin cotton fiber. This unique blend results in a one-of-a-kind upcycled linen-cotton yarn.

Moreover, we employ this innovative upcycled yarn to create new fabrics, which serve as the foundation for our UpcycleLino clothing. Even after the upcycled garments have been produced, we remain steadfast in our mission to minimize waste. Consequently, any additional fabric waste generated is repurposed to create upcycled hangers. This holistic approach ensures that our sustainable circular fashion ethos is actualized, striving towards our goal of achieving "Full upcycle production = ZERO Waste."

In recognition of our unwavering commitment to sustainable circular fashion, we are honored to have been bestowed with the esteemed GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2021. This accolade not only acknowledges our industry-leading initiatives but also reaffirms our dedication to creating a more sustainable future.
