These gear shorts are designed with a modular taste, showcasing three-dimensional pockets on both sides to address the common limitation of pocket capacity in shorts. The spacious silhouette moves freely from the skin, accentuating the texture of natural fabrics. Front tucks from the waist create volume, while a front drawstring and a back gather elastic waistband ensure an easy-to-wear design. This 12.5 oz denim is exclusively made of linen which is woven using rope dyeing techniques with indigo-dyed linen yarn in the warp, produced in limited weaving mills in Okayama, the birthplace of Japanese denim. Linen is a challenging material for denim manufacturers as using indigo in the warp can lead to equipment staining during color fading, affecting production efficiency for linen specialists.
