A new double-breasted jacket that makes the most of the crispness and texture of the original tatami-woven fabric.

Breaking away from the traditional boxy silhouette, this garment features a three-dimensional form with a shaped waist.
The fabric's lateral stiffness creates a sharp, taut silhouette when the buttons are fastened, while the lower placement of the buttons and pockets softens the overall heavy feel, creating a wider V-zone.
It looks great even when worn open as a light jacket, striking a perfect balance between casual and relaxed style.

The garment is fully lined and fitted with matte buffalo horn buttons. The finishing process involves repeated garment washing and sun drying to bring out a soft, textured look.
This garment is classic yet fits seamlessly into everyday life.

CONFECT's original textile is knitted using a high-density flat weave, with double-ply cotton yarn for the warp and a highly twisted blend of wool and linen yarn for the weft.

By applying the structure of traditional Japanese tatami mats and weaving the weft threads as tightly as possible to completely cover the warp threads, we have created a unique texture that is uniform and granular.
The inherent warmth and durability of tweed are combined with the toughness of tatami weaving, resulting in a substantial feel while exuding a sophisticated, modern Japanese vintage vibe created by the blend of wool and linen.

Due to its extremely tight weave, this fabric is very difficult to weave. It is carefully woven in Ichinomiya City, Aichi Prefecture, and then given a unique finish through open washing and washer processing in Shiga Prefecture, making it a high-quality Japanese material.
