This collarless jacket is an updated version of CONFECT's classic quilted item, now crafted from a new cotton-linen typewriter fabric.

While retaining the loftiness of the padding, the material has been redesigned to be lighter, resulting in a versatile garment that is easy to wear as an outer layer and fits well as an inner layer under a coat.
By applying CONFECT's signature garment dyeing technique, the dye accumulates in the unevenness of the stitches, creating a depth and shading that is not found in typical quilting.

The front features easy-to-use snap buttons, and the silver metallic finish adds a sharp accent to the rich, garment-dyed texture.

The outer fabric uses a high-density typewriter fabric with cotton yarn for the warp and a linen blend yarn for the weft.
By weaving the fabric without the intense pressure of roller processing, we were able to retain the crispness characteristic of typewriter fabric while preventing it from looking like paper when garment-dyed, resulting in a natural and deep texture.

This is a meticulously crafted Japanese fabric that combines lightness and warmth, created through a relay of domestic craftsmanship: weaving in Aichi Prefecture, finishing in Hamamatsu, and quilting in Tochigi Prefecture.
