This original double-sided quilted textile features a small diamond pattern and incorporates the lightweight 30g eco-friendly padding that is a staple of CONFECT products.
The outer fabric uses a high-density typewriter fabric with cotton yarn for the warp and a linen blend yarn for the weft.
By weaving the fabric without the intense pressure of roller processing, we were able to retain the crispness characteristic of typewriter fabric while preventing it from looking like paper when garment-dyed, resulting in a natural and deep texture.
This is a meticulously crafted Japanese fabric that combines lightness and warmth, created through a relay of domestic craftsmanship: weaving in Aichi Prefecture, finishing in Hamamatsu, and quilting in Tochigi Prefecture.
