An easy-fit pleated summer short pant from our sustainable and genderless line of UpcycleLino BASIC made from our lightweight 10 oz. UpcycleLino denim fabrics created with our partners from a world-renowned century old denim house in Okayama, Japan.
This sustainable fabric is woven from indigo dyed cotton warp yarn and linen-cotton blend UpcycleLino weft yarn meticulously crafted to give the finished garment its unique hue that will gradually wear and age better over time.
The fabric has also undergone a gas singeing process for clear and smooth surface texture and has a vintage-like natural naps achieved from uneven thickness of upcycled yarns used.

・Wide-leg, easy fit.
・Lightweight 10oz. denim.
・Double pleated at front.
・Elasticated waistband at back.
・Adjustable inner drawstring.
・Belt loops.
・Concealed button-fly with one top button exposed.
・Side slit pockets.
・Back patch pockets.
・Contrast color stitches.
・Garment pre-washed.
・Approximate weight: 486g.

Introducing UpcycleLino
UpcycleLino is the trademark for our original yarns and fabrics made of our production fabric waste.
Usually, when we cut our fabric, about 30% of the fabric is wasted (40% to 50% in general). But now, by making special garments and hangers using our own new upcycled yarns and fabrics, we can reduce the waste to 0%.
With our dedication to sustainable circular fashion and commitment to reducing the waste in our manufacturing process, we have developed an original upcycled yarn made of our linen fabric waste from our garment production. The upcycled fiber is made out of our pure linen fabric scraps with added organic virgin cotton fiber to become our original upcycled linen-cotton yarn named UpcycleLino.
We then produce upcycled fabric with this upcycled new yarn to create new clothing. There comes another fabric waste after the upcycled garments are produced, then we make upcycled hangers out of the remaining waste, following our social mission of "Full upcycle production = ZERO Waste" and thereby upgrading our sustainable circular fashion.
We received the GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2021 for our initiatives to the sustainable circular fashion.
