A tapered leg easy-fit pants from our genderless UpcycleLino BASIC lineup featuring elasticated gathered waistband and inner adjustable drawstring. Crafted from lightweight linen warp yarn and our original UpcycleLino weft yarn, which is made of a sophisticated process by blending short, uneven upcycled linen fibers with high quality pure cotton fiber that can only be produced by our expert artisans.
This pant has also undergone a finishing process of Omi-zarashi in Shiga Prefecture, which is a traditional non-chemical bleaching method used for over 300 years in Japan to make the fabric have a unique slightly crumpled paper-like texture.

・Relaxed fit.
・Tapered leg.
・Gathered elasticated waistband.
・Inner adjustable drawstring.
・Dropped crotch.
・Side slant pockets.
・Back patch pockets.
・Garment dyed.

Introducing UpcycleLino
UpcycleLino is the trademark for our original yarns and fabrics made of our production fabric waste.
Usually, when we cut our fabric, about 30% of the fabric is wasted (40% to 50% in general). But now, by making special garments and hangers using our own new upcycled yarns and fabrics, we can reduce the waste to 0%.
With our dedication to sustainable circular fashion and commitment to reducing the waste in our manufacturing process, we have developed an original upcycled yarn made of our linen fabric waste from our garment production. The upcycled fiber is made out of our pure linen fabric scraps with added organic virgin cotton fiber to become our original upcycled linen-cotton yarn named UpcycleLino.
We then produce upcycled fabric with this upcycled new yarn to create new clothing. There comes another fabric waste after the upcycled garments are produced, then we make upcycled hangers out of the remaining waste, following our social mission of "Full upcycle production = ZERO Waste" and thereby upgrading our sustainable circular fashion.
We received the GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2021 for our initiatives to the sustainable circular fashion.
