UpcycleLino's original denim uses sustainable nep yarn, which is spun together with thread scraps that would normally be discarded, for the warp threads, and recycled linen for the weft threads.
This fabric is made in Japan, with all processes carried out domestically, from dyeing in the Bingo region of Hiroshima to weaving on old-fashioned power looms by weavers in Okayama, and finally to finishing.
The appeal of this fabric lies in its rich texture, uneven weave, and soft feel, which are unique to fabrics woven at low speeds that cannot be achieved with modern looms.
These pants offer comfortable wear right from the first time you put them on, and you can enjoy the rich, aged look they develop as you wear them more.
