In recent times, there is an increasing trend toward synthetic and artificial leather. However, there is a growing recognition that if we continue to consume fashion as a disposable commodity driven by trends, the cycle of production and disposal will remain unchanged.
Created with our firm belief that clothing is meant to be cherished and worn for a long time is just as crucial as choosing eco-friendly materials, we have chosen to use using byproduct raw leather from sheep originally raised for food consumption.
Just like our cherished natural materials, including linen, natural leather is also derived from nature. Therefore we strive to minimize waste and use the full potential of leather while creating our garments.
Material: a superior comfortable snug for all
We have chosen 0.7mm-thickness sheepskin leather that combines 'softness' and 'strength'. A soft leather that allows ease of movement and contributes to an elegant appearance, all while retaining the durability necessary for a long-lasting garment.
Inspired by the sports jackets of the 1920s to 1930s, which were popular before the arrival of what we know now as single/double rider's jackets. Its simple front zip design and moderately long length, makes it a versatile jacket that transcends trends and suits various occasions.
While conventional linings prioritize strength easily achieved with synthetic materials, CONFECT places importance on natural fabrics. We have used linen for the body lining to ensure breathability, and smooth cotton satin
for the sleeves for easy wear.
By incorporating CONFECT's signature relaxed silhouette, we have added a unique charm that sets it apart to vintage styles. The elastic cuffs offer a sporty vibe, and the stand collar with a windproof design allows for various styling options when raised.
