This is an oversized short-sleeve shirt with a generously wide fit in both the body and shoulders.
The collar design is a recurring element in CONFECT collections, inspired by workwear. The top edge of the collar features a simplified construction without a separate upper collar piece, using a continuous fabric panel for both front and back.
The shirt can be worn with the collar standing up or laid flat by fastening the top button, or styled like an open-collar shirt by leaving the top button undone. The hem is finished with a straight cut, rather than a curved one, so the shirt can also serve as a main top. Slightly larger buttons are used to give the shirt a jacket-like appearance when worn open, allowing for versatile styling. To retain the character of the original yarn-dyed pattern while creating a worn-in, vintage-like finish, the fabric has undergone a pigment dyeing process. This method, similar to indigo dyeing used in denim, is known for producing noticeable fading over time. Please note that due to the nature of the dye, some color transfer may occur to inner garments or bags during wear.

For washing, we recommend using a neutral detergent and washing by hand with minimal abrasion. If using a washing machine, use a gentle cycle with low water flow, and wash separately.
Please be aware that local fading or discoloration may occur along fabric creases due to friction during washing. However, as the shirt is washed multiple times, such tonal differences will gradually soften and blend into the overall fabric. We appreciate your understanding of this characteristic.

Although this fabric had been stored in a warehouse, the year in which the raw yarn was spun happened to coincide with a particularly high-quality flax harvest. As a result, the fabric is characterized by its smooth texture with minimal slubs or thick irregularities.
Only standard finishing processes such as singeing and desizing have been applied, but thanks to the quality of the yarn itself, the fabric has a crisp hand and a distinctly linen-like texture. It is a beautifully finished deadstock material.
Two base fabrics were used: one is a yarn-dyed red chambray, and the other a yarn-dyed orange stripe. As these base fabrics were in relatively common colors for linen materials, an overdyeing process was applied to transform them into more distinctive shades. This resulted in a unique linen fabric with a special character and coloration.

CARE & MAINTENANCE:
Hand wash, no more than 30℃ max.
Do not bleach.
Do not tumble dry.
