A classic regular-colored shirt featuring a relaxed silhouette with a comfortable neck size, focusing on ensuring the width isn't overly roomy. The fabric boasts a fine check pattern with a persimmon dye, resulting in a brown hue with a slight reddish-orange tint. This fabric is crafted with plain weave made from a blend of heavyweight carded cotton yarns, and cotton-linen blend yarns. Carded yarn, known for its soft and fuzzy texture, enhances the unique charm of the fabric. Dyed in Nara Prefecture, using Kakishibu-zome which is a dyeing process that has a long history in Japan. The method is used to dye everyday items as well as ninja garments, enhances fabric longevity and protects against decay. The dye itself is crafted by meticulously crushing unripe green persimmons and allowing the resulting juice to ferment for over a year, resulting in a rich, natural brown hue.
